Welcome Home!

 We hope you enjoy visiting one of the most blessed spots on the big blue planet.  Lewistown, Montana is located at the geographic center of the state.  First Christian Church is located on Main Street on a hill overlooking the city of Lewistown.  Just outside our doors is the most photographed vantage point of the town.

However, most of us don't choose churches based on location or the beauty of their surroundings.  We choose churches based upon the reliabity of the teaching, the personalities of the people, and the opportunity to serve and be served in God's Kingdom.  Based on this criteria, I think you will find that this may just very well be the church home you have been looking for. 

Take a look at the people in the pictures above.  These are not stock pictures of actors.  What you see are the faces of First Christian Church.  This is a collection of God's own who welcomed my wife and me a little over a year ago.  We accepted the position here in a great part because of the warmth and love demonstrated by this congregation.  We have not been disappointed in our assessment of love and care.  Friends of ours just visited and were struck by the same qualities they saw in the people.

 Finally, in so far as being served and serving in this part of God's Kingdom.  I think you will find our ministry system without parallel.  We are blessed to have people fulfilling the mandates found in Ephesians 4:

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,  to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up  until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."                                                         --Ephesians 4:11 - 13 (NIV)

All this is just to say, if you need a place to heal and be served - we are here for you.  And, if you are looking for a place to use the gifts, talents and passions God has given you, then this is the place for you.
